I did graduate with a diploma in photography, but more importantly; I bought my first camera for $0.10 when I was 8 years old, and I have been shooting ever since. (even though it doesn’t look like it, that’s almost 30 years!) Whenever I can get out from behind the camera or the computer, you might track me down on the ski slope, in a sea kayak, at the end of a water ski rope, or walking the dog. Getting quality results requires much more than an address, a date, and a price tag. Buildings have personalities, and careful attention must be paid to capture them. There is more to great architectural photography than just showing up with a good camera! - A discussion about the property, and image goals - A scouting visit to see the building and find view angles - Client selects views from scouting proofs - Select time of day, and perhaps year for the photography - Access and logistics are worked out, lighting plan is made - Shooting takes place - Images are inspected and perfected, proofs sent to client - Client chooses final images - Delivery is made on CD, or electronically.
